I'll admit that I'd rather have a tighter stop and get stopped out and re-enter. Having a big position makes me much more nervous than taking a string of small losses.

Shoot, if you really think the financials are bottoming, sell some puts to acquire the shares. XLF is around $7 and there are plenty of dollar strikes below. Sell the puts and let yourself get assigned.

how do you know when to enter? i'd think you'd be charting the ratios of the selected pairs and entering based on OB/OS signals.

I do this to keep the kids from being on the net all night. I just have a plain-jane 5 year old Microsoft wireless router and it lets me schedule on/off times. I can even do it per computer so my PC is still on the net and the kids' comps aren't.
