Well that explains why he insisted on a donation to his pet charities as the payment for his "Trading Workshops".

I was one of those presenters and the whole thing just about put me into shock. He used me, and the rest of us, to boost his credibility. I've been in touch with some of his victims and they know that we weren't involved - heck he told them not to mention to any of us that he even HAD investors. Once the details started to come out we were able to put our heads together on it.

That statement references people who helped him raise money directly, along the lines of Denys Dobbie - who oddly enough passed away recently.
