Great story. :p I have a question, when you spread your pairs out , does everything ever go against you or you get caught with positions being too correlated? Do you have a point where you're at loss where you ever go "im flat" or are you always diversified and "in" ?

well in the one instance adding provided me with the best results (flash crash 2010),I only had a few minutes .

Adding to winners is profitable when you get good vol moves in your favor with little retrace along the way. Different strats do well in different conditions. No one size fits all .

But grandma has been buying s$p every month for 20+ years.... Sure if she is trying to time the market 5 years at a time she'll soak her depends. If joe six pack buys s$p every month the next 20 years I bet they beat the vast majority of traders. My point being, not many here are...
