Hell yes! I used to train at SBGi!!!! (and then I had to move :( :( :( ) I trained with them like 4 years ago. I absolutely agree with their "aliveness" concept. PS. bjjtrader you have a PM.

(note that this doesn't apply to ALL Krav Maga schools; just the one I went to) I moved to a new town and there was only one MA school there, and it was Krav Maga. I called and talked to the guys and the guy said he would give me 2 free lessons if I wanted. Basically, it was just...

You are about 98% incorrect. The only reason you're still 2% correct is because things like "heart" cannot be "taught" to a fighter. That being said, a person with intense fighting spirit using TKD will still lose to a guy who is bored using bjj >90% of the time. And a brilliant trader...

Ok. How am I mentoring anyone? The only thing I told people to do was not be content with insufficient answers. Unless somewhere in this thread I gave trading advice and have subsequently forgotten about it

Can you hit a resisting opponent with his chin tucked down in the neck? Traditional karate techniques are very effective when practiced on your partner who isn't moving. Trying to hit a resisting opponent with pressure point, dim mak, in the eyes, in the neck, etc., is extremely difficult...

The skinny on tape reading and trading

Cool. The only problem with your attached pic is that while you have drawn ascending support and resistance lines, at the time those trades were being made, the Support and Resistance channels could not have been drawn yet.

    Range bars

Anyone use these exclusively? I feel like I'm on the verge of understanding how they could be advantageous to volume/tick bars*. I don't like time-based bars cuz there's too many instances of a bunch of small bars being following by giant bars by small bars. edit - and if you use them...

Lets discuss techniques for smoothing MAs

Heikin Ashi is cool BUT misleading because you're not looking at price. I remember the first time I loaded HA candles on accident... I was like "OMG HOLY GRAIL!" :D

Agreed. I remember that feeling well. btw, the "anti-take down" defense they teach you in other styles is bullshit :D I learned that right away, too. And then after you've been immobilized in 3 seconds and have no idea wtf just happened to you, and you say to yourself "Psssh, well he's...

I saw a video of two internal grandmasters fighting. It was really old and flickery because it was on film. I will see if I can find a link somewhere and post it. It was HORRIBLE. I think one guy was a Hsing-Yi guy. It was basically two old men on a rooftop going around and trying to bop...

Remember that story where a guy made a random entry system that was profitable?

And said it was due to "money management?" I read somewhere that it used a "chandelier trailing stop." Can someone elaborate on what a chandelier stop is and how it can make you profitable with random entry? The only way I could make random entry profitable is with martingale, and then...

My long windedness is full of facts and objective truth. Salesmen long windedness is full of BS and garbage. I directly answer questions (or I say "I don't know"). Salesmen give you doublespeak and circular reasoning. :D
