I used to use IB as a CPO. I had a few that wanted me to run managed accounts for them - and I had the CTA to do it, but it became too much of a logistical headache.

I was holding a few ITM EOM spreads on ES for May. Given that they were safely ITM, I let them run into expiration today. I was considering taking them off earlier in the day given the IB autoexecute monster and it's moodiness, but decided against it. At the bell I got another surprise...

I think there's only about 3 or 4 of us using that POS any more. And half the symbols don't work and it lags the market most of the time. Last time I checked a few years ago it was still better than most of the others most of the time...

Bondtrader, Can I call Globex directly? The orders flushed through about 30 minutes ago...new orders seem to be working fine, although it's still a bit frustrating not to be able to reach IB.

I have an order hung up on Globex and can't reach IB. Chat isn't working (at 6:45am EDT), the "new ticket" function won't load the web page and I can't reach Europe or HK via cell phone. I guess VZ wireless doesn't like the numbers as displayed on the IB web page. So I'm stuck with a nervous...

It's still the same. I put oil contracts up and some days you get quotes, some days you don't. Sometimes you can delete the symbol and retype it and maybe it will come up, other days not. Still pretty much the same as it has always been.

I still use QCharts, which hasn't improved under Esignal. If anything it's worse. Am I the only poor slob still using this stone of a tool? Does anyone have a symbol for oil in QCharts? Using the CL08? doesn't work. I get the symbol up, but it only shows a quote about once every three...
