Anyone here ever been to Normandy?

That's pretty far to the east. I'm not sure I'd get that ambitious.

Anyone here ever been to Normandy?

I toured the Gettysburg battlefield a couple of years ago and got pretty choked up at times. I can't imagine how I would feel if I went to the Normandy cemetery.

Trading quite successfully but still working

This is the key. I am still sometimes amazed at how much discipline successful trading takes. Let me ask you a question. Do you have a distinct, systematic method which, if you were extraordinarily disciplined, would make you consistent money? Sometimes this question takes some serious...

What was the ***last*** thing you had to master before becoming profitable?

I'm enjoying it as well. Mainly because I've grown up and accepted who i am. I am able to allow success to happen rather than constantly fighting with myself and trying to make every trade profitable. Now I'm able to let profit targets get hit, and let small gains turn into a stopped out...

A statistically representative climate change debate

But it's like a typical political argument between 2 drunks on bar stools. You actually agree on some points, but neither side is willing to admit that the other drunk is even a little bit right. For instance, when someone stated that there is a difference between "causes" and "contributes"...

    Suspended driving licence

Gstaad, Mont Blanc, Chamonix "Aiguille du Midi"... I really gotta get out more. Sometimes I forget there is more to traveling than going from Western Wisconsin to Northern Wisconsin. (as beautiful as it is up there)

What was the ***last*** thing you had to master before becoming profitable?

What was the ***last*** thing you had to master before becoming profitable? Inner demons. The learning curve is steep, but not unmanageable. But then you get into the psyche. So many years... I'm not sure I would do it again, quite honestly.

The Unofficial Goldman Sachs Guide To Being A Man

I always buy cheap, decent looking sunglasses because I always lose or sit on mine. I think it's time for some nice ones. Surprisingly good list.
