I just want to know if learning AI in general will help with writing more sophisticated trading strategies thanks.
I can take it as an elective next semester. The course covers such topics as:
Heuristic Search: Best-first search, hill-climbing, genetic algorithms
Logical Reasoning...
If your serious start taking a few courses at your local community college.
I would recommended the following
Computer Programming I/II
Data Structures I/II
Introduction to Algorithms
You may want to take a math course calc I and II if your rusty on your math.
Best of luck.
"Solow Building Co. tried to boot Banc of America Securities out of the offices at 9 W. 57th St. because of allegations the investment unit used the premises for improper "late trading" and other fraudulent securities practices."
And all this time everyone thought Banc of America Securities...
Seems like these days you hear about buy out firms doing really well and hedge funds gaining more heat under the SEC radar. I never really understood why buy firms do so well, especially when most of the companies they pick up are companies already on the verge of bankruptcy or record losses...
Please be advised that the registration statement relating to Vonage's proposed initial public offering (IPO) has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Well I finally went to sign up at vonageipo.com and it seems you have to be a US Citizen, not just permanent resident what kind of ass backward requirement is this???
Yes I totally agree, the only thing i'm worried about is the vesting period. 2-4 months seems reasonable but anything after that could be a huge risk, especially when they dont make '07 earning predictions.
Where can I find more information about this ? I've been with vonage for about 3 years now. Nothing on their website at all did you call their corporte office?
I've been looking at PEIX
