Learning programming/modeling

No offense but this is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. If brain surgeons, rocket scientists and the best engineers can easily learn trading then why do they spend their lives working for six figure incomes or less when they can easily be out there making 7-8 figures annually.
Anybody who takes up programming can learn it eventually because there are no psychological/emotional barriers to overcome as there is with trading. Most people never overcome these barriers:)

I'd start with VB.net or even VB6 if that's all you can get your hands on. Learn it in your spare time. You can apply what you learn to other languages... a year or so down the road you can move up to C#, C++, etc.
