Right, but If it wasn't for the numerous trades he's posting on a weekly and monthly basis, then the investor classification would be true. He's quiet in severe pullback though. So I'm not sure we can safely say that he's an investor, although his buy and hold (during big pullbacks) does in fact...

Right, I understand all that. However, the market doesn't have to wait for major fundamental changes before it in itself changes. And the changes can happen quite abruptly, no? Case in point, what just happened with your last trade. I mean let's be honest, you were not expecting a 63 point move...

I'm happy that you made money on this trade. You did however risk 63 points for those 12 points you made! Do you think that's excessive? And at what price would you stop yourself out if this continued lower? Thanks.

No need to push for more points, as I had a good week, and I'm done for the day. All orders cancelled. Let's hope this vola continues unabated for a while. Have a good one everybody!

Out ... +8. You gotta love volatility. I'm upset though that the short I intended to get in earlier was missed by a point. That hurts, specially when the market tanked 22 points after that.

Thanks ammo, but I feel like I'm leaving some money on the table, simply because I sense we'll probably go up another 10 points or so. I prefer we go down first though, so I can get long again.

Out .. +18.25. To recap: this trade was really a continuation from last Friday's exit at 1926. I was fortunate that the market backed off enough yesterday, allowing me to go long again from 1925.75.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I guess I was looking for a reversal yesterday, but once again, it was a day late :D Have a good weekend all!

Target hit. All flat now. I hope my rationale is clear enough for you. My point is that just because the charts are pointing down, does not guarantee a continued movement in the same direction. It's no more difficult to go up 30 points than to go down 30. The market is always right when it wants...

If my 1926 target isn't hit by eod, then a stop will be placed at the entry point of 1911.75, with exit target changed to 1931.5 - GTC.
