Report: Verizon (sym: VZ) is blocking Wikileaks stories

When I saw the headline of this post, I was shocked and assumed that Verizon DSL/Verizon FIOS, their broadband services, were blocking customers from accessing WikiLeaks. It now seems that they're only blocking employees access to sites that mention WikiLeaks while the employees are at work...

    Government Unions vs. Taxpayers

Even the harmful prohibition violators, such as the crackheads who robs a convenience store, would not be engaged in such nefarious activity were they not paying egregiously inflated black market prices for drugs which can be produced very cheaply. If that $10 rock were 10 cents, which it would...

    RM's occasional market calls...

This is not true, yahoo gives the latest prints on the BATS exchange in real time, as well as the best BATS bid/offer, which except on the most illiquid issues will be quite close to the inside bid/ask and the last trade.

http://www.aolnews.com/surge-desk/article/is-wikileaks-a-terrorist-organization-rep-peter-king-thinks-so/19736963 (Nov. 29) -- Journalists have called Julian Assange's WikiLeaks project a revolution in the way news gets to the public. Governments, not surprisingly, are less enthused about...

How does one access Credit Suisse for less than $2.50/1000? What's the minimum volume they want on the firm side to get the cost reduced?

    ADD/ADHD traders

Must agree here. I have horrible ADHD and have no problem focusing on the markets. If I just made 3 or 5 trades per day I think I would die from boredom, but I trade 100s of times per day so I'm always very engaged. When I was a teenager I had prescription Adderall for daytrading, and it...

Thanks for the answers all, I'll compare all the brokers and see who fills me the least. I'm playing around with a strategy I use to trade chop in stocks like BAC, GE, etc. the ES moves very similarly (never mind its 95% correlation) in regards to back-filling a lot... the strategy I'm...

    Best Demo/Sim For Realistic Fills

Of all the futures platforms out there, which one has a demo that most accurately represents realistic fills. Right now I'm using GSTrader through Global Futures, it seems sort of okay, but has major flaws. The strategy I'm running mostly captures one tick moves such that I can't accurately...

paranoid ? or is Google tracking me - and you ?

NO. There was no other explanation. I did not communicate about the site via e-mail, it was all in person and over the phone. The keywords showed up clearly based on the site, which existed in my browser's history but was nonetheless a local file on my harddisk.

paranoid ? or is Google tracking me - and you ?

I was developing a website a while back, and had never uploaded this site to the internet. It existed only on my hard-drive. It was for a security company. I went into my g-mail while working on the site and noticed all the ads on the side were based off the keywords on the website I was...
