IB "closed" my long position at 15:19 EST today when the market hit my stop order price. This was supposed execute 23 hours ago at ACE since it was a native order residing at ACE.
I think IB might be offsetting customers positions, matching them internally. I have no explanation otherwise...
This is not good news at all!!! I don't want to trade on an exchange without native stop protection. Well, last night was a great example.
Thanks for the link...

My account still reflects the open position. I've been on the phone many times today with IB. I was told that they received execution report from ACE for my stop order and that trade will be posted to my account today. YM's trading +20 in my favor now, so this takes off the stress now. Although...
IB still doesn't know about the status of my position. I still see that my position is open. But it was shown as closed last night. I'm very nervous now!!!
Serenity now!!!!
I had a long YM position with a protective stop order pending at CBOT (green status) before the outage. The stop order should have closed my position during the outage. Now IB is back on-line and I still have my long YM position. Does anyone have a similar situation?

The Market Depth for YM seems to 4-5 seconds delayed compared to current best bid/ I have in TWS. I have no problems with NQ and ES market depths. Has anyone else seen this too? Is this a problem with CBOT?
Thanks,
Chinook
Fast Trader,
I suggest you try to adding to your losing position and see how you are handling it.
Let's see, after your second contract got executed:
1) The market keeps going against your position.
a) The P/L column is showing some negative number that you thought you would never...
Can somebody let me know where I can find historical margin requirements for NQ/ES? I got curious about what NQ/ES overnight margin req. were during summer of 2002.
Thanks.

I had the same problem. I was using BT2003 to adjust my protective stop order and as I changed my stop the order status stayed blue. And eventually it got green. So I thought I had my stop where I wanted and then NQ broke down and to my surprise my stop was hit!!! The stop in my TWS was about 10...
Excellent post.
Especially, for the e-mini traders, you can have the protective stop limit reside in Globex. I also had two outages with IB today; in both cases, I already had my protective stop limit orders pending in Globex.
I have problems with real-time data and reliability issues with TS. I am also looking for alternatives. See my posts.

I think Neoticker looks very promising. It needs a datafeed--e-signal and NAQ can both feed it.
Good luck...
