...this brings another idea back to me. I can remember once there were thoughts that IB could one day offer a data feed / charting application with tick data. I think IB has all the programmers, infrastructure etc. needed for this. All of the existing charting apps have some weak side...

There is no info on OSE website regarding data. CQG seems the only charting service to cover this exchange. Maybe Bloomberg as well, but all others don't have it. This makes trading this one very difficult, impossible for most.

DEF, i noticed already that IB is about to offer N225 futures. Nice. However, I found it impossible to get any data on the contract. Neither Futuresource nor any Realtick Vendor offers data on this. Can you recommend a good data service, maybe with an API for quotes & tick data ? Kind...

In terms of nominal movement (high-low range / size), the contract is small.

i don't know about trackrade, but had very good experiences with trackdata.

it was well possible with tws builds 6 mo's ago. i tried it last week and ran into several problems. ended up both applications lost connection to tws. not the first time i experienced this.

Obviously you have no idea. Just look into the process how your IQ is calculated during an IQ test. If you make more errors in the test as a younger person, you still may get a higher IQ score... that says it all, doesn't it ?

I should add that you should generally not consider QQQ charts. Use SPX cash or ES futures charts instead, du to the issues in my last post.

the reason is probably that QQQ trades natively only at AMEX, but most volume is done at ISLD, INCA and NYSE. some vendors will include only AMEX ticks, others will throw all exchanges together.

It's all a matter of sales. SCH has tons of phone retail brokerage customers they can hand over to CYBER. Anyway, CYBER sucks.

Many institutions use TWS. Not much for stocks, but derivatives. I could call some names, but I would violate non disclosing agmts...

why not take it ? sounds well... before you sign in, be informed about their trade error policy. it may be they will decrease your salary and comp in case of handling errors.

look for the brokers utilizing PATS or X-TRADER systems. they will offer it.

maybe you better find out if they really have these large fund orders. otherwise, they are probably looking for some sales guy...
