YM has down time daily between 5:00 PM - 7:15 PM (EST) Opens Sunday @ 7:15 PM -- Closes Friday @ 5:00 PM (EST) You can look up trading hours at the exchange websites www.cbot.com or www.cme.com. The e-minis are not tradeable 24 hours a day !!

Lost 5K in the last hour or so (index futures). I made an error getting out of a position, both manually and auto. Then doubled downed on that losing position only to get run over. I was up 5K having a good day, after the disastor trade, ended up around even. I worked damn hard for that...

Trading gaps off VIX/TRIN is not the right way to do it and I have to agree "It's bullshit". Trin is meaningless in the morning. Actually I rarely look at Trin.

I live in Whistler BC. It's pretty sweet here. If your dirty rich you can buy a home by the lake overlooking the mountain. It can get a little rainy so, if you got the big bucks you can spend 6 months here and 6 months somewhere else depending on the season.

Scalped 11 Ticks on YM (23 --> 35). Out as well. Done for the day. Did not trade the ER2 @ 816.00 since my DOM would not open on the screen. Switched monitors recently and its opening the DOM on a screen I am not using !!
