But the market is too bullish for me to see a profit on the Short, and it's going back up before it drops.

Nice call, JJ!!! Now, is it safe to get back in the water yet? :)

Gotta get above 1549 to be a valid breakout. If 1549 holds we most likely drop back into a range. Currently long ym from 13705 and short 2 units of ES with BE stop at 1553.50

Short NQ at 1970 when I saw the selling tail... stop right above highs.

:edit: covering for a point... not feeling confident enough. I think its possible it makes 1 more retest 1972 and even breaks through by a ~point so I dont wan't my stop there... i'll look to short again around that level. If it breaks 1974 though I'd be out.

An increase in quantity... Note the absence of a decrease in quantity. This is where games are played while maintaining pole position. Have you ever watched volumes on DOM? Pulled quantity, in increments of 1, maintain pole position. Just one of likely many exploits, within the "rules" of the algo.

You guys have got lots of imagination. :D

LMAO, don't follow me, even though I'm Short @ 1547.75.

Market is still very bullish, but I say NO! :p

What a day.

Had my buy order missed at 710 (hit price but did not fill)
Had my sell order missed at 770 (hit price but did not fill)

I had this day dialed. Everything played out exactly as planned, but couldn't capitilize. Unreal.

Still up on some small scalps but missed the meat on that swing up.

Quote from Brucelee:

This is how it works:

First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Algorithm
FIFO uses price and time as the only criteria for filling an order. In this algorithm, all orders at the same price level are filled according to time priority. It is important to note that a user loses their order priority when the order is changed in any of the following ways:

* An increase in quantity;
* A change in price; and,
* A change in account number.

we all know "how" it`s supposed to work.....the question is does it???
