we have some price deflation but its only in manufactured goods where there is too much production capacity. Also companies are getting by with fewer workers. If you look at the CRB index commodities have just been cranking along to the upside with only minor dips.

I am looking for around $335 on gold short term and then its back to the $380's sometime later this year. The long term trend is not threatened at all by this retracement and the fundamentals haven't changed.
