I agree also. I never understood statements like that. If you are good enough to find a GAURANTEE 20 cent move everday, you'll make more money than anyone else you know. Of course, if you are good you find more than 20+ cent moves, more than once a day. Profitablity is limitless

A couple weeks ago as ERS came off its high a scalper friend kept buying 5k shares at a time. He kept DCAing up to 50k shares, and ended the day down over 100k$. Check out the ERS chart....it truly was a perfect storm.

i saw the cooltrade short in Trader Monthly. It seems overly simplistic in strategy..but I have not judged whether this is wholly a bad thing. I am working on two filters, short and long side, and will update you when I get commished to 0.

i dont see the connection. prop firms should still flourish. look at Goldman, Bear Stern, Morgan earnings, blowout profits from succesful equity trading. As long as the carrot is there, the donkies will still keep chasing.

i think as all trading strategies, there will be some adjusting, but if they can take all the arca's volume and put it infront of the tape readers that follow the NYSE, it can show a lot more depth to the story. Also, now that NYSE is a for profit public company, they will do their best to...
