Future of NYSE Trading (tape reading)

just curious as to everyones opinion about the upcoming Arca/NYSE merger. Will this trigger the end of tape reading or will
the existing specialist hybrid model still exist?.....

Also..how will the new best price rule in April affect NYSE trading?

Just curious as to what everyone thinks...

fom what i have seen, they havent laid out what they plan to do with the Specialist, but I know they wont phase hiim out. too many people are making too much money with that man standing there.

I think the move from fractions to decimals was more dier than this Arca upgrade.

Always remember, a good trader will be a good trader through all changes, situations, and market conditions
