    What quote source are you using? If you're backfilling you might be limited to 10 days of immediate backfill. Then you have to let the balance of the data accumulate over the next 10 trading days. After you have 20 days accumulated, for every new day added the oldest day is deleted.

    I'm running IE7 and was able to load the test page without any problem. So it's safe to assume that IE8 and IE9 are not necessary at this point in time.

    You're in preferences, charts tab, multi-day timeframes tab, right? That's where you should be able to bump up the Max Days On Charts setting. Make sure all of your quote sources are set correctly in the Data Sources/Proxy windows.

    TDA will be shutting down the registration servers. For QT to function, as of now, it communicates with the registration server when you start up the program. The patch I found addresses this issue so that communication with the registration servers will no longer be required.
