It's all relative. $100K is really no big deal. It's a test. I don't care if the company is retail or not; I just wanted to know the available options in terms of platforms - and was fixated on the OEC that I really liked.

You're right dan. Amp confirmed that it's not separate - but an OEC rep told me that all they do is license the software to the IB (implying that there might be different technology behind it).

Good point jim, but I already confirmed with a rep that Amp OEC customers should experience the same problems as OEC's direct customers.

Jim, Amp Futures offers a white label version of OEC's platform. I have been told that they only license OEC's software - and provide their own servers and technology. Does this mean that Amp customers wouldn't have necessarily experienced the same technical problems that direct OEC clients did?

I think you're risking it if you're just getting low 70's in your practice tests. My opinion is to take the exam once you're scoring 85 or above on all your tests.

With the fund group we do the due diligence for it's 50/50; i.e., the trader starts off with 50% of the profit incentive fees charged. We do have the advantage of charging higher fees for certain traders/programs because of our relationship with this particular group (between 25% and 35%), but...
