For active accounts $100K+, are the answers still the same? OEC told me that for $100K+ accounts they start at 1.90 including exchange feeds per side for ES
#############################

suspect 0.50 -0.60 per side without exchange fees
possible ,depend from your activities for 100k $ account

but author point of view- under no circumstance one account by one company and one clearing house with this amount of the money .All this futures brokers have good chance to dissapear
more speedy as Bear Sterns .Segregated account not in each case can avoid long time payement procedur

It's all relative. $100K is really no big deal. It's a test. I don't care if the company is retail or not; I just wanted to know the available options in terms of platforms - and was fixated on the OEC that I really liked.

Quote from rickf:

As a new OEC customer, I traded the FOMC today @ OEC for the first time and it performed flawlessly.....it was the best FOMC trading session I've ever had, the charts were current, my fills were prompt, and compared to where I used to trade futures, I was more than a little pleased!

Maybe you didn't look at the platform after 1530. The demo acct was disconnected, then messed up after reconnecting.

The demo may be different then a live acct, but they claim the data is of the same quality.

The data is generally very fast when all is working.

Test are -

paper money with real quote CME FIFO order
paper money trader contest
and for great capital start small

90-95% retail sector would loose through years ...

future is game with zero summ theoreticaly ,but practicaly
zero summ - commission -tax -charge for software /communication .

Chicago based institutional with very speedy connection to exchange ,good information ,good legal support would have
advantage's in tactic selection ,would more flexible .

This advantage would realized through years .

OEC platform is means ,not the objective .

Is there a good UK brokerage firm that will allow me to trade ES and DAX and use these platforms or AT? I would also like to diversify a bit away from US firms at the moment.

Ask brokers from link belov.suspect that this U.K.native which offer USA ,in each case offer Liffe

http://www.liffe.com/liffeinvestor/brokers/index.htm

But experience of the author FSA is not good for complaint ...

Best wish ...
