I think any broker that has its own desk and trades against you is NOT good.....I you are better off with shops that just provide the liquidity through market makers i.e., interbank etc etc..... As for FXCM I would not know but it seems like its the same as Refco FX is/was...I would stay away...

how much do you pay per round trip on commission for say one contract in EUR FX futures??....

I doubt this is useful for a home set up or independent day traders....unless you have a large volume of incoming or outgoing ccalls.......and also it has the speaker box which is really only useful if you have a direct line to a broker showing you prices all day...so its really for bank traders...
