Interesting transcript with InterbankFX

A bad attitude from ANY customer service is =

1) ALWAYS WRONG
2) LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM
3) REASON FOR NOT DEALING OR COMPLAINNING....

To think or assume that it is a $500 or $500K account is irrelevant....

I might want to open an account with $500 because my other $450,000 are clearing from my tax refund........basically...

DO NOT UNDERSTIMATE.......

happy trading....gd w/end

bigmrfrank,

Are you sure you are a big player?

You know Fiedelity 14 bond insurance doesn't protect your money from Refco kind of incident.

That insurance is mainly for fraud, not bankruptcy.

And trading 30lot is not Nothing due to liquidity.

The maximum executed lot size I have heard from retail level trader is 20 lots.

I have never seen any retail trader with 6 figure acct size traded more than 20 lots with any broker or MM.

If I can trade 30 lots like nothing, I wouldn't even thinking about trading with wireless device.

Sounds like you are piker.

Well said. Ever notice how those that serve as employees are the most tolerant of bad CS and those that serve as owners, upper management and CEOs are the least. The two classes are so dependant on one another yet see things so differently.

After giving the idea much thought and talking to a few of my IT guys about wireless security ... you are correct. There I said it! Happy?

Quote from bigmrfrank:

It says 2 - 3 days on thier site. Fishy right?

I haven't looked at their site, but this does sound fishy. And if
they don't send out a check for 7 days then that is even worse.
There must be something wrong with these idiots.

I hope you don't move any $$$ their direction.

Quote from bigmrfrank:

I have to prove to you a lousy 35 pip move? Is that a big deal for you? Pick a fight elsewhere.

I clearly asked him to justify his company policy to hold OUTGOING checks for 7 days after a request is submitted. That's what the website states. No mind reading required. Do you wait for 7 days after you request money from your account? I hope not.

My current FX account is covered by a Fidelity 14 bond against going Refco. Better than a sharp stick in the eye NO?

Myself and inner circle employees always take the limo on Fridays. It's a great perk and we can get as drunk as we desire. I buy of course ... another perk.

I didn't tell him the nature of my account size looking to see how everyone is treated. I guess that is of little concern to you. That's the nature of your attack isn't it? My account size. Geez.

Anyway, nothing personal, have a great day and strive for the account size that makes you happy.

You don't have to prove any trade to me bigmrfrank. Not trying to
pick a fight either. It's just been a long, long week...

I wouldn't want to wait for 7 days after a request is submitted for
an outgoing check either. I was under the impression that they
were telling you the check would arrive in 7 days. My bad.

Ah, getting drunk in the limo on the way home on Fridays. I will
agree this is a cool perk. Have a drink on me. Or two. Or three...

Myself, I would of been upfront about my account size. They will
treat you better, almost kind of human like...:p

Nothing personal here either mrbigfrank. Have a great day and a
hell of a better weekend. Party on...:)

Quote from jm73:

Is trading 30 lot considered big play?

If it is, maybe I am dreaming too much...

I am thinking about trading at least 50 lots when I am ready to quite my day job....

Should I lower my bar?
30 lots is $3 million. On a 50 pip move- whcih happens every day, usually a couple of times, that is $15,000.

If that seems small your day job must pay well.

I agree with MrFrank, there is no reason wire transfer not to be executed the same day, and the cheque cut the same day. How long does it take to reach your bank is another issue.
I've dealt with 7 brokers so far and some of them were very efficient when it comes to withdrawals (always "the same day") and some are extremely lousy and slow.
Needless to say I have closed my accounts with the "slow" ones long time ago.
And yes I also agree that Refco should be repeated thousand times in the face of all brokers.

That's odd that interbank fx doesn't have fidelity insurance, but it really doesn't matter anyways. Anyone that thinks that that will protect their account is deceived, refcofx or otherwise, makes no difference because it's not there to guard against bankruptcy.

Who cuts check the same day??
