Ok. Convoluted but I'm curious. If I buy 1000 shares of a stock at $98 today in January. And then I sell ten Jun 21 2024 $100 calls for $5. (collect $5k credit)... What happens if the stock goes to $102 in a week? Do I immediately get my shares taken away to pay off the Jun call options...

its not linear until it is and then it's not. How does reading charts or tickers prepare you predatory algos that make it up as they go along. Sure there are "levels" but they sure didn't matter the last 10 days. This is new because the game is constantly changing.

Why did market jump Friday on strong job numbers? I thought that was bad. The narrative so far has been interest rates will rise unless inflation and jobs go down...now jobs are up...so why'd the market take a strong job number as positive for equities?

1) on friday op-ex; sometimes stocks move a lot after hours. If I have an out of the money call or put at the close BUT it goes in the money after hours - how long do I have to execute that trade? 5pmest? 6pm est? 2) can I actually trade options after hours? I only see common stocks moving...

My main motivation was to reduce margin as I was thinking originally to just sell the 90p naked exp this week for .55 as a csp. So by doing the bull put I could free up the cash. It's more about being high conviction the deal goes thru and pick up prem on the way.

what is the straight arb?

When I try to sell a bull put for a credit spread (ATVI sell 90p/buy88p) for .20 - I get a pop up message (see pic) combo not supported. I have not attempted to execute the order yet- but does this mean I won't be able to make the trade?

Hey all I barely figured out how to trade US treasury bills on IB. How do trade canadian treasury bills ? As simple as possible please. Especially the name of the acutal bills...they are so unintuitive lol. THANK YOU
