Can I trade options after hours?

1) on friday op-ex; sometimes stocks move a lot after hours. If I have an out of the money call or put at the close BUT it goes in the money after hours - how long do I have to execute that trade? 5pmest? 6pm est?


2) can I actually trade options after hours? I only see common stocks moving after hours but never options - do I have to call in or can I do it online?

1. Depends on broker. I think Occ is 530 est.

2. You can’t trade the option but you can delta hedge it.

• I assume the only equity options you can trade during after-hours is QQQ and SPY.
• Until 4:15 PM EST.
