You are right that the trend is still up -- that's why I cover on quick moves down. These moves down are becoming muted too. Probably better trade is being long except it is too close to the upper boundary of the recent range. I'm staying flat this for now.

I have been watching s&p these days when trading fx. Sold usd.cad 1.2088 when I saw s&p trying to bottom and a rather quick 90 pips. Only if this happens more often :)
