Is anyone else having trouble creating spread combos (calendar or diagonal in my case) in OptionsTrader today? When I create one, I don't get bid/ask/size -- with either the latest TWS or the latest TWS Beta. And if I click on the ask to place an order, it opens the full order ticket...

yea, that's the hard stuff... when it becomes a straddle, etc. I'll refer you to: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p550.pdf starting at page 56 on options, then straddles....

The opposite -- That is never the case that I can think of.

No, as you realize normal cap gains/losses on options.... unless you were assigned an exercise in which case you adjust your basis on the underlying... and unless it's a straddle, which would be too complex to explain the various permutations here.

Just came back -- probably a total of 8 or so mins of outage. Not as bad as the "big one" back in Dec!

Down for me as well. For probably 6 or 7 mins now. It's interesting that many of the members posting to this thread are different from the last time there was an outage.

Maybe your settings file became corrupt? Try restoring an older settings file.

You can ask on their next quarterly conference call.... I am never free to catch them live or I would do it.

Maybe this is a scheme to see how many ET users are actual customers.... :D This is the first real continued outage (> 10 mins) I've experienced since becoming a customer in 4/2007. Experienced bugs and momentary hiccups but a first for me.
