I agree with you, it's another way to do that, but with usb 2.0 it's slow and you can't even run a movie on both screens, because it lags too much. So, to have it run like a real multimonitor system, you should use usb 3.0 hub (to have many usb 3.0 ports) around 25$ for 4 ports, and adaptators...
