Hi there, am I correct in assuming that you are Euan Sinclair? If not, please disregard this message. However, if you are then I would first like to say that I'm a great admirer of your work. I've read your updated Volatility Trading as well as a few of your articles in Active Trader magazine. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping you could give me some advice on how you backtest your ideas? Do you simply use a proprietary system? Or is there a platform/software that you might recommend. I'm looking for something that can backtest equities, futures, options, and futures options. And where do you get your data?

I have a system that is simple and can make around 5% a week..It involves gap trading...I do not have statements. I don't have the money to trade it and avoid the Pattern Daytrader Rule...Let me know what would make you comfortable with a possible business arrangement? mike
