I did note that this is the story that was supposedly described to Trayvon's dad by the investigator at the station. As told by Mr. Martin.
I've killed more than few deer.Quote from RCG Trader:
We have a ton of deer, and some coyote. No.
I should fucking hope so. But then I was always a little better than average marksman. Could I put him down with the first shot? Probably not.You shoot right? Can you say that you can hit a mountain lion in full stride towards you? With a 357???
I used to own a .44 magnum. It was an off brand western style revolver. It was difficult to hang on to when fired. Usually your hand would slip up the grip and bang the flesh between your fingers and your thumb against the hammer. I went home with a bloody hand on more than one occasion. It did make enough noise that I don't think you would have to hit your target, though. The blast alone would knock them over. Anyway, I got rid of it because of the recoil and poor design. I thought about getting a S&W or Ruger but haven't. The blast from that handgun was pretty awesome though.Quote from Lucrum:
Oh, and a .357 magnum is hardly a "cannon". I've only had the privilege of shooting a .44 magnum on one occasion but I actually enjoyed it. But then admittedly I like some recoil when I shoot.

I do own weapons, and I do fire them. Though admittedly not as frequently as I used to.
