Zimmerman's bail set at $1M in Trayvon Martin case

Quote from trefoil:

We're not talking about the outcome of the trial, merely about whether he should be charged.

Nope.

My original statement quoted completely:

Quote from TGregg:

Be interesting to see the stats on black murder suspects with no priors and their bonds.

At this point, there appears to be some serious miscarriage of justice. Either the cops were bad when they originally wanted to let Zimmerman go, or the judge and prosecuter are over the top. For these two sides to be so strong, one has to be crimminally wrong (IMO). My bet (but I wait for the trial to confirm) is that the cops were right and the political system caved to pressure.

So my question for "the other side" is, supposed this turns out to be correct? Not saying it is, but think Duke Lacrosse. Suppose the evidence is open and shut and this case shiould never have gone to trial? Would you support sanctions against the prosecutor and the judge? And for the record, if this is a slam dunk conviction, I would support action against all involved detectives and police officers that let Zimmerman walk.

So, (again) would you railroad someone due to priors? I don't know that Zimmerman is innocent. Based on what I have seen, I would say he is. But it is easy to imagine there is evidence of which I am unaware that would change my mind. Is there any evidence at all that could change yours?

Quote from TGregg:

I mean, if there was reasonable evidence to charge Zimmerman, then the cops should have charged him.

The lead homicide investigator wanted to charge George Zimmerman the night of the shooting.

But Sanford, Fla., Investigator Chris Serino (pictured, right, with Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee, Jr.) was instructed to not press charges against Zimmerman because the state attorney’s office headed by Norman Wolfinger determined there wasn’t enough evidence to lead to a conviction, the sources told ABC News…

Serino filed an affidavit on Feb. 26, the night that Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, that stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman’s version of events.

The state attorney’s office says “no comment.”

Curious that there is no level of evidence or facts that would change the minds of the left.

Or maybe not so curious.

Go to page 79. This man tell the police what George Zimmerman tell him after he shoot Trayvon. George Zimmerman y his wife stay with this man in his home for 4 - 6 weeks after he kill Trayvon because they are afraid. He is George's friend.
He tell the police what George talk to him about when he stay in his house. He say George tell him he first see Trayvon walking, then he can not see him. He say George get out of the car to look for Trayvon. Then he walk back and this is when he say Trayvon punch him. He say he fall down and Trayvon is get on top of him and cover his nose with the one hand and cover his mouth with the other hand. Then he say Trayvon saw his gun and Trayvon take his hands away from George's nose y mouth to reach for the gun. Then George say he "slapped" Trayvon's hands away from the gun. Then he pull the gun out, then he "rotate" the gun and shoot Trayvon.

But if you look to the video when George talking to the police of what happen, he NEVER say he "slapped" Trayvon's hands to get away the gun. George say he push his arm to "pin" Trayvon's hand down, then he holding Trayon's hand down with his arm and with the same time he pull the gun out.

So you can see George tell more lies. Why?
Page 79 you can see.

And still none. The libtards have their minds set like a steel trap and no evidence of any sort will sway them, even though this case has not gone to trial. Innocent until proven guilty? Only if you are the right race when facing a jury of liberals. Interestingly, aren't they they ones always yammering about open minds?

Do you think George Zimmerman forget if he "slapped" Trayvon hand away from the gun, or he "pin" trayon's hand under his arm? Why is the story changed?
Where is the DNA of George on Trayvon's hands and his cuff of the hoodie?
Why 2 witness say they see 2 people running before they hear the gun? George say Trayvon punch him, he fall down, Trayvon is on the top putting his hands on the mouth and nose and slamming his head, and punching his face too. Then he kill him. George never talk about running.

TL no one knows what happened except for Zimmerman to our knowledge. You are splitting hairs and that is an understatement. In the US you are presumed innocent until proven guilty, we just need to wait for the trial. Also, if you have ever been in or witnessed a violent fight or scuffle you would realize that no one remembers every detail.. in fact if 4 people saw the fight you will probably get 4 different stories. I believe you are a girl so you probably have never been in a fight but I assure you that it's true.

I think George Zimmerman know black people before try to steal in his community. Then he see Trayvon is walking in the community he judge him guilty, but he see no crime. He follow him. Trayvon is afraid and is running away. George think he will not let this person run away like all the other criminals. George follow him. George think and imagine Trayvon is guilty, but he have NO PROOF. Is only in his imagination Trayvon is guilty.

And I think many posters here do not care if Trayvon is innocent of crime when he is walking home. They only can see many black people are criminal, and do not care if George make BIG mistake. That is wrong. Because your country have freedom to speak, and freedom to ALL people to not be judge guilty with no proof. George Zimmerman judge Trayvon guilty in his imagination. He follow him. That is my opinion.

Imagine if Trayvon is YOUR brother. Do you care if George Zimmerman have good intentions to fight the crime then he kill YOUR brother, or son, or cousin but is mistake? Do YOU care if George try to do good but make mistake and kill YOUR family. You will care.
