Well that's how justice ought to go , but reality is quite often at odds with any form of consistency or rationality where politics gets involved and REALLY SCREWS THINGS UP.

Had an argument with my lawyer a few years back that law was completely arbitrary. He of course insisted it wasn't.

I said you folks pretend to follow a set of rules with rationality and precedent etc etc etc but since the Rules themselves are COMPLETELY ARBITRARY (subject to political whims ) then the whole system must reflect that quality and no amount of mental gymnastics is going to change that reality.

Of course the argument didn't take but about 60 seconds ( I was on the clock).

I think he knew I was right and of course you pay a lawyer not to be right but to Know how to manipulate the existing rules to render the action you desire.

zimm is screwed because he's a white man who killed a protected class of citizen (endangered species) , a black boy.

Only blacks are allowed to kill blacks , that's the reality of how the endangered species, protected class of citizenship works.
