I agree the law won tonight, but its a very hollow victory. True justice would suggest there should be some penalty for gross negligence resulting in death. I'm not questioning the process or the verdict, what I question are the societal norms that helped create the tragic circumstances.
At some point, America will realize that the preponderance of guns does not make for a safer society. And that people are just people regardless of what they look like.
