There is a winner. The law won tonight. It served it's purpose. Our legal system is not about absolute truth, but putting the absolute burden on the prosecution to prove it's case. It might mean a few guilty go free, but it guarantees the innocent will not be found guilty. And we have accepted that in this country. We accepted that with OJ Simpson, with Casey Anthony and many others.
It's foundation is rooted in old English law and often quoted by Sir Williams Gladstone: " Better that 10 guilty persons escape then one person suffer."

George is free.... but will have to be in hiding for the rest of his life.
A menace to society was stopped before he did any real damage.... it is hard to celebrate the death of a youth who was admittedly off the tracks. Maybe he would have straightened out, or maybe he would have gone further down-hill. Hard to call the death a 'win'.
Trayvons Parents are now millionaires thanks to this incident.... and the money comes from other rate payers who will suffer higher premiums.
The only 'winners' will be the NAACP and their lawyers who will use this case to drive more donations.
Sharpton is already out race hustling and urging the black community to riot.

9-year old Trayvon Martin was on his way home from choir practice and delivering hot meals to the elderly.
Trayvon stopped to hold umbrellas for a Girl Scout Troop which was raising money for quadriplegic AIDS victims in Africa. After he helped the Girl Scouts, he then delivered 10 Golden Retriever puppies which were breach birth.
Trayvon was helping an elderly veteran across the street while carrying a puppy home to his sister who was on her deathbed with just hours to live. He'd also picked her her favorite skittles candy and a bottle of iced tea.
That's when George Zimmerman pulled up in his Hummer, on his way home from a White Hispanic KKK meeting. High on meth and shouting racist slogans, GZ saw TM and opened up with his twin roof-mounted 50 caliber machine guns and shot Trayvon in the chest for being a black kid in a white neighborhood. Zimmerman is now a Detective on the Sanford Police Department.
