Zimmerman charged with 2nd degree murder

Quote from nutmeg:

No disrespect intended, but your comments are text book, perhaps the law will see it that way also, but I wonder if text book replies reflect not having spent any time on the street and how the world really works.

"Skittles and ice tea" ever hear the phrase "pampers and formula" defense?

When the Po-lice would stop the druggie near a known dealer hang out, the perp would say, I'm just going to the store to get some pampers. it's innocent enough at 2 am in the morning.Get it?

A ten day school suspension is a biggie. Then you send your kid off to live somewhere else for the 10 days? My kids would be in house dentention, as a matter of fact, school law in NY says the kid has to continue with education (home schooled by providing a tutor)not sending the kid on vacation to do nothing.

But, I have read of kids being sent out of town during a suspension to get away from gangs.

No one is diggin up dirt on Martin, probably because he is a protected class. The media isn;t interviewing his class mates or friends, zip nada nothing

I'll also add

1.Zimmerman was told by the 911 operator not to pursue Martin-Zimmerman still pursued Martin

2.Zimmerman had a canceled weapon permit. In canceled weapon permit classes the instructors drill it into your head that the cw permit is not a license to play cop and you are to do everything possible to avoid altercations.-Zimmerman did the complete opposite

3.Neighborhood watch policy is no guns-Again complete disregard by Zimmerman

Zimmerman 'nuts' when he 'snapped'

George Zimmerman was fired from his job as an under-the-table security guard for “being too aggressive,” a former co-worker told the Daily News.

Zimmerman, at the center of a firestorm for shooting an unarmed black teenager a month ago, worked for two different agencies providing security to illegal house parties between 2001 and 2005, the former co-worker said.

In 2005, George Zimmerman was twice accused of either criminal misconduct or violence.

Refresh my memory, how many times was Trayvon kicked out of school for drugs and such? Three times?

Assaulting an officer and a women is much worse then Martin possibly smoking pot.Smoking pot would also make Martin less likely to be violent.

a school police investigator said he saw Trayvon on the school surveillance camera in an unauthorized area “hiding and being suspicious.”

-------------------

Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, called 911 and told a police dispatcher that Martin, who was returning from a trip to a nearby convenience store, “looked suspicious.”

Funny how that works.

After Zimmerman shot Martin his suspicions proved to be false.Martin had a reason to be in the neighborhood, nothing illegal was found on him

Being labeled suspicious is nothing unusual for young black males

IMO, too much emphasis is put on race in this.

What you have is a teen who is physically a man, or nearly so, and likely hot-headed and rebellious against authority figures (the school suspensions).

At 17, many teens are emotionally immature and exhibit low levels of control and discipline. Maybe it's hormones. Maybe it's just "I'm a man now!" attitudes.

I don't doubt that Martin acted emotionally immature during the confrontation. The problem was there needed to be at least one level-headed adult present making good decisions, and so far I don't see evidence that it was Zimmerman.

Zimmerman has a conviction for assaulting a law enforcement officer, ignored 911 operators when they they told him not to pursue Martin and ignored the rules thought in concealed weapon permit classes .Zimmerman seems to be the rebellious one against authority figures imo
