It doesn't make sense for one established cry baby to carry on and call another by identical connotation. This should have been apparent in my prior post.

Max and Brass are vets in this arena. Both have been banned. They take it to limit. Both are to be admired for that in this place.
Brass, a sharp tongued Progressive who cuts the core of matters. It infuriates the right.
Max, a libertarian who have not recognized that his party considers him a liberal now, because they have shifted so far to the right.
Good eggs, both of em, but here in fight club, Brass is always your ally. Max is a wildcard. Depends on the day.

I have been here a long time. The level of discourse in P&R has never been lower. Thoughtless and crude name-calling has taken the place of intelligent debate. Posters' positions on issues can be accurately predicted merely by the title of the thread. It is becoming more and more of a chore to wade through this crap. Perhaps Baron needs to step in before one of ET's best features is ruined beyond repair.
Having said all that however, I must admit that P&R is merely reflective of our society and the state of political discourse in the country at large. We don't debate any more. Positions on all major issues are set in stone, and the goal is to discredit the other side through name-calling, mud slinging and demagoguery.
