I call bull that you have some 'method' of generating non-trivial risk free return. If I misunderstood what you mean by there being some means of milking the market that shouldn't be made public, then I stand ready to be corrected.

My finance professor said the same exact thing to use put options to hedge your buying risk on dividend receiving stock. I got a little too creative before class this morning and I appreciate all the help everyone! In what ways can you play games with ex dividend dates? I'm a little confused there.
