zecco.. increased naked puts/calls equity requirement from 50K to 250K ??

I have been using Zecco.. as I usually like selling naked puts/calls.. they worked fine for as long as my equity requirements were 50K..

but now.. they raised it to 250K.. they cited that the market volatility is the reason for this tightening. restrictions.!


i am moving to tradeking.. atleast 100K there. for calls and 25K for puts.
. i hope they have not increased


can you guys tell me who else offers naked puts/calls writing for the least amount of equity.
 
If you are referring to $250k required for even allowing you to short naked options, then that's insane.

Think or Swim. $3500 minimum, no "option levels". You can fund your account on day 1, and short away. Just remember that I sent you, I want the referral :-D
