I was born with a lot of problems at birth and was even born without enamel on my teeth if you can imagine that. I was allergic to everything in my childhood. My father had to take me to Stanford University Hospital which at the time was the best medical treatment you could get - he wanted me to have the best. I was lucky to live at the time. They said I was hyperactive at my school and another doctor put me on a drug called ritalin when I was very young. My mother and father were always fighting and they were going though a divorce so I ended up getting stuck in the middle and neglected. With a combination of coming from a broken family and the ritalin I ended up growing up with learning disablities that never got treated by my educators which I wish I go back in kill one by one but that's the way it goes. My motto is to move forward and work away from past problems. Despite being very intelligent I always had communication problems but had other learning advantages. People usually passed me off as a problem person who didn't know me. Think of how a blind person compensates and that's exactly what my mind did. I am a very bad dyslexic which shows from early childhood homework where I do things entirely backwards. A lot of times I'll know what I'm saying but it will come out differently when I translate it to someone else. Even though I'll know the difference I'll do it backwards physically. Ironically I'm a very good speaker and was always able to receive the highest grade in all my classes in oral speach and I also have higher aptitudes than most. Being a very fluent speaker everyone was encapsulated by my speech. It's actually the mechanical part of language that I have a problem with and getting out what I'm thinking into literal terms. I would actually like to be a writer but I don't have good writing skills and very little actual education other than what I taught myself which is quite a bit more than any school could teach. I'm a very visually thinker and when people see something like a bridge or other geometric object I see a diagram of the inner construction with minute details.
While at times I can not speak I do know what I'm talking about. My father was also subjected to chemicals by a leather tannery in Whitehall Michigan. They built this tannery (stain leather and dump animal carcuses other products in the lake including chemicals) right next door to where my father lived which contaminated people that lived near the lake and worked at the factories. They actually worked in the factories there because there were not very many jobs in Whitehall and after the depression things were pretty tough coming out of it. His father died from the chemicals at the leather tannery. So while I know that their refers to a person and there refers to an object I might switch it. This is minor compared to problems I used to have. My father is also very intelligent but with similar problems. He knows about alternative fuel and actually worked on a nasa funded project called smart plugs for 2 years and I also know something about it. He also worked for a very short period on the sky car that was seen on the discovery channel. He quit because he couldn't work with the guy and they weren't compatible.
