YouTube bans Alex Jones

No, I do not. But there are many others that I do not consider legitimate political commentators that escape censorship by the same platforms.
There is obviously a line being drawn somewhere. Has it been made clear where the line is? I don't follow Facebook but I'd guess there made some sort of statement regarding their criterion. You would know. In any case one assumes the others you don't consider legitimate haven't crossed the facebook line yet.

They have made statements. Twitter has chosen not to ban arguing that he has not breached their rules (there was an undertone of yet in that).

These companies don't owe the public jack shit, they're welcome to do as they please. It's a free market, righties should compete by making similar platforms.
Didn't you know? Free markets are only free until a Rightster's delicate sensibilities are offended. (But they were evidently not offended by Alex Jones.)

But it makes it a publicly owned company! And the rules are different for privately held companies and publicly traded companies. You should know this . This is a site for traders.

Different rules? Why? It is a public company in the private sector. "Free markets." Why should its operating policies be any different just because it is widely held?

No they aren’t. Rules are the same with respect to this. Expectations may be different based on influence.

Are you this dense?

We're talking about policy made by companies in respect to public/private, not whether they are publicly traded and have different SEC requirements. Why don't you head back down to the pub and let the big boys talk?
