I know you and all progs feel this way. It has nothing to do with hate speech or whatever. It is purely about silencing opposition. About excommunicating people from society who disagree with you.

It amazes me how passively republicans accept this. Of course, establishment republicans are ok with selling out the country on a whole host of issues from immigration to trade to pointless foreign wars.

It’s not about silencing opposition, it’s about integrity and honesty. You right wing types are being brainwashed and filled with poison.

These right wing leaders - Jones, Hannity, Limbaugh, Levin, Carlson, et al. - push narratives in a journalism format without any editorial standards. They are pushing a cult of personality and resentment.

There’s a whole right wing misinformation industry around denying science, there’s reckless gun propaganda and now they are fermenting a revolt against the rule of law and the justice system.

It’s not an excommunication, it’s about having minimal standards. You guys wade in filth and garbage politics. All of the social media platforms have a responsibility to clean it up.

When Trump wanted to block people on Twitter, the argument was made that it was a public forum and blocking users would infringe on their freedom of speech. Now the argument is being made that social media platforms are private entities and freedom of speech doesn't exist because they can choose to block any content they choose. Do you really not see the double standard?

The truth is they are private entities and they can publish or block any content they choose. Trump had every right as a citizen to use a privately owned social media platform just like everyone else. But his case went before a liberal judge in the state of New York, so the outcome was pretty predictable.

Alex Jones is an idiot and the social media platforms had every right to ban him.

Donald Trump holds the office of the presidency but the American people own that office. No American can be denied access. If Trump wants to block users then he should resign.

He's regularly preached that Whites are all evil. He's preached that Jews are evil. He's preached that Black people should not allow their children to make friends with Whites or Jews.
