Franklin Graham Compares Michelle Obama to Apocalyptic ‘Whore of Babylon’

Several Evangelical Christians have openly speculated that President Barack Obama is the Antichrist, but preacher Franklin Graham’s criticism of first lady Michelle Obama has taken it to another level.
“If Obama is the Antichrist, then Michelle Obama must be the Whore of Babylon,” said Graham, son a famous minister Billy Graham, in an interview with the Conservative Chronicle.
The Whore of Babylon is a biblical figure associated with apocalyptic myths. Graham went on to say there were similarities between Michelle Obama and the Whore of Babylon.
“The bible says the Whore of Babylon sits on a scarlet beast. Michelle Obama rides in a limo called the Beast,” said Graham. “Also, the Whore wears scarlet and purple, colors that Michelle Obama wears.”
While Graham’s comments may be outlandish, they are on par with other disrespectful comments made by Republicans about the first lady.
According to the liberal website Addicting Info, “The Resistance: The Last Line of Defense,” a right-wing Facebook group recently asked its members to comment on a glamorous photo shoot the first lady conducted for InStyle magazine. Group members called Michelle Obama “a gorilla,” a “tranny” and much worse.
Group member Bill Yarbrough wrote: “The only way Michelle Obama will look good when she is walking out of the white house with her bags packed.”
