So are you asking if the system wins, but you fail to meet its performance?
If that's the case, I'm afraid I underperform most of the time, but still make money. I either don't take all the signals, or sit out days that I think will be bad, and you know Murphy's law. If I could follow my system religiously, I would be a millionaire in a short time.
On the plus side, my therapy to counteract this involves beatings similar to the ones Mr. Sub endures, so I believe I'm turning the corner.

I think you are probably right. Many systems can help you make money if you follow it strickly and have good risk management (i.e. can cut the losses quickly). My questions should be: Can you 100% follow your system? There are just too many people,including me, making second guess from their systems which could easily lead to failure.
