Hi apologies for the slightly off topic question.
I was looking at time, symbols, bid and offer, position in order book down as far as 11, price and volume.
So X[88,8,1,0,0] would be the price, of the best, offer, of the 9th symbol, at time-step 89.
I’m looking for a subset V of X but if I have the opposite I want to eliminate it, not create a new position, so as to create cash B from thin air.
L(-V.X+B.dt)
I would like to maximise this over all possible V with constraints on the minimum. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

I can’t help and your request is kind of hidden in a small thread that has nothing to do with it.
You drive the risk right up to 3% ($50) of the account ($1500) in your example. I think you see it from a acedemic standpoint that you could survive this but in reality there are not many people that will do well with 50% drawdown possibility. You must be able to function to your best capability, wich means with as less stress as possible.
