Well, I don't know what to say about the "alignment" part of it all cuzz I don't even know what they're talking about. But it's not that unlikely that a guy would look like Cayce and then end up wanting to be like him (or even be him) imo...

Good job minimizing his stature. Here is a little more info about Wilcock suggesting that he is more than a guy who wants to be like Edgar Cayce. A simple google makes that apparent:

Quote from website:

David has written or co-written at least five different books, composed music for his own CDs of his channeling, co-produced a three-CD word-and-music series entitled "The Science of Peace" with nine-time Grammy award winning musician Larry Seyer, has led multiple lectures, cruises and tours around the world, including Japan, Egypt and the Caribbean, and has appeared on television and multiple talk radio programs. Especially with the astonishing enigma of the Cayce connection, David’s proven marketability already exists. David built an entire career off of his scientific work without publicizing his connection to Edgar Cayce; in fact the Cayce book was not published until fully six years after David first learned of this connection.

I live in a town of several million people. I would guess that there are probably a few hundred guys that would look similar to E.Cayce. And, to me anyway, it's not that unlikely that one of them would be a talented New Ager (and perhaps even later think that he was the reincarnation of E.Cayce)...

Hmm, ok.
Well, a freind once told me, regarding a shotgun, " oh yeah, its unloaded, no probs".

It wasnt unloaded=bad.
Is this an example of
a) poor firearm safety

b) someone lying, or exagerrating

c) checking something out for oneself, by your own due diligence and objectivity, regardless of what freinds might have said.

Heres a question-are christians allowed to have freinds, outside their "group" as you put it?

But do you have several dozen friends all of whom thought their shotguns were unloaded, etc.??

I think, probably because it's outside your paradigm, you forget that I have dozens of friends (including myself) who have had supernatural experiences. So are you suggesting that I believe they're all lying, exagerrating and/or mistaken?

Btw, you reminded me that our group leader got involved because he had hepatitis (from years of the "wild life") and was given ten years to live. They now find no trace of it in his system after being healed about ten years ago.

This was a huge decision for him as he knew he was healed and the doctors verified it. But he and his wife had to decide if they were going to "trust the healing" since they wanted kids. After all, it was important for their kids to have a father that would survive.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is that these kind of miracles are, while not an everyday occurrence, quite common. And I know this guy very well. He's an excellent father of four now and a very stable, "salt of the earth" kind of person.

Again, why would I not trust him?

Yes. Evangelical Christians are generally encouraged not to be "unequally yoked", which translated into not married, etc., to a non-Christian. But friends are fine n dandy...

That really hit close to home, our Dad was a real disciplinarian[related to word disciple/ discipline.] Sounds like you got a,b, c right like our dad did on gun safety. Wish all were that careful.

Generally to answer your question yes.

But watch how the mainstream media tries to turn something like this into an intolerance thing,;
not to marry someone with dissimilar beliefs.

Another trend in some parts of the country, is low impact horse logging , horse team yoked together,and something related to the last 3 paragraphs.

The old testament precept is a bit funny , but practical hebrew law ;
not to yoke a donkey with an ox:cool: So that principal is in old testament/covenant also.:cool:

I am repeating this pattern, simply because its a much needed example of wise gun safety principles.

When I did go down to Argentina & Uruguay on safari , all the airlines & its standard operating procedure;
said ''show me shotgun is unloaded'' They werent talking trash;
but simply wanting to see walk & talk.

Talk is cheap.:cool:

Well, when your talking about a fully loaded browning auto, safety off, one in the chamber, leaning on a fencepost, it can get mighty expensive, real quick.

I miss my winchester defender:(
