Big B, I’m sorry to hear about your Father in law, sincerely hope he recovers. But you misinterpreted my post. It wasn’t aimed at the seriousness of the virus. But at those, including yourself at times, who segregated and ridiculed people for their freedom of choice.

The sole purpose of mandates are to force compliance. Front line medical workers who answered the call, put themselves in harm’s way and who were heralded one day, were ostracized and fired the next. They performed their duties fine without the vaccine, the only thing that changed was the narrative and the trumped up pressure by this administration and the press to punish everyone who wouldn’t bend the knee.

Omicron has totally destroyed the current game plan, it is infecting everyone irregardless of vaccination status or attempted protocols. Fortunately the vast, vast majority of people show only mild to asymptotic cases. My hope, and it seems to be being confirmed by the scientists at the moment, is Omicron will give us some protection going forward against future variants. If so, this may end up as a blessing, time will tell.

The virus is serious, it kills people it has killed seven people I personally know, three particularly well.
