The lefties gotta love it. This covid thing is the biggest "get out of jail free" card to come down the pike in our lifetimes.

And the ability of inmates to learn how to game the system is outstanding. If only they learned and applied themselves in other areas of life with such speed and ingenuity.

It's a deadly frigging game too. Some guy rapes and kidnaps someone, hey, we need to release him so that he does not get covid. And it would be a shame if he died.

If it is similar to other states, then the county jail systems and DA's must still implement state correctional guidelines even if administered by a county official.

I see people in my lefty state being released by lefty judges who do not want to release them - just as the conservatives do not- but the Soros army of lawyers is upon them for that issue and others and they say that they have to follow the guidelines. Although I would quibble with their choice of the word "guideline" if they are treating it as or if it is a mandate.

I could not find if it was the county or state health officials who ordered the release as the stories do not mention that at all.
