The only reason a trader would be medicated is because of legal
pill pushers like you (if you don't work at McDonalds, which I believe
you really do).

Anyways, people can still go back to their jobs if they do not become
successful at trading. It's not like they are going to die or something.

You keep talking about indicators. Sounds like you have tried to trade
with indicators and failed.. A lot of traders don't use indicators... duh...

I have read that around 50% of doctors wished they had never even
entered the field. I bet the percentage is way lower for successful traders.

So are you happy being a shrink (or hamburger flipper)?...:p

I wouldn't be happy being a shrink hanging out with screwed up
people all day long. Maybe this is why you are here at ET... venting...:D

Doc, the very first day in psych school they taught you that people only do what works for them. Passion stems from deep emotional needs = desires inside.

You sure have demonstrated a lot of passion toward gambler=traders in general and myself in particular. If you were counseling us, you would clearly wonder what the personal connection is that drives such passionate prose.

On the other hand, I'm indifferent. Whoever you are behind another false alias is completely irrelevant to me. I'm a trader, I choose to frequent a trader's forum for my own purposes and I hope to offer some benefit during my stay.

I'm not here to run a complete free clinic... are you? Likewise, I'm not posting inside a forum designed for psychoanalysis, ghostbusting, quilting or the lagging affects of malaria-induced impotence. All of those are viable forums for people who fill the need.

This is a trader's / gambler's forum. Why are you here? That's a rhetorical question... answer it in private on your way to self-help discovery.

This thread is so jack'd, I could use a good shrink to help with my gambling problem. Anyone know a shrink around here? I don't want a disgruntled burger flipper, but someone who can dispense drugs I don't really need. You see, I wish to make the shrink feel he is "helping me" to reinforce HIS ego.

Ahh, back to trading.

Almost right, this is a gamblers forum under the subject of Psychology. Unfortunately, there is too little psychology and a lot of lying and self-aggrandizing which you austin may be the leader of the pack. I'm here to let others (probably new earnest seekers of help) who aren't your pals and career posting shills to know a bit of the truth about this business and perhaps expose your cabal in the same effort.

If an outsider reads these threads, they'd come away thinking the 10% winners all reside here. The winners DO NOT post here. They have no need to blow their horn and feed their ego with false banter. You haven't shown me anything that helps the trading community succeed--but that shouldn't surprise me since you're admited purpose here is to kill time and boredom between those great trades you take, right?

Gotta run, real traders who aren't in denial are waiting to see me.
