I checked most of those\ except market making+ related.
Our family was always serious about nicknames
Certainly no disrespect intended to market making/specialists..................................................
Who chose the Investing option...that's laughable. What are they doing here on a trading forum,
Who chose the Speculation option...also laughable. Just go to Vegas and gamble, drink, eat buffets and tits.
Swing trading is way too slow, and open to too many unknown variables and conditions.
Scalping and Short term daytrading...picking up scraps is not sexy.
As far as I'm concerned, everyone here on this forum should be Daytrading, and understanding the market on that daily/intraday scale.
Capturing that one major move of the day, capturing that big fish.

I picked every option because
A.) The poll is pointless with that many definitions of "trading"
B.) Clearly, "investing" and HFT are the only ways to "trade".

Well, unless you have no method and nothing to actually bring to the party, or you consider your method so fragile that the mere mention of it in even the most general terms such as the timeframe charts you like to trade, then next best thing to criticize in an effort to look superior.
Usually when the kvetch arrives empty handed instead of moving along in the first place, it behooves the reader to parse that post into content and kvetch.
Amazing how many posts have a 100% kvetch to 0% content. Further parse of any content found can be into 1) Actionable information% and 2) Other%, like videos and other bullshit.
My setups and triggers are for intraday. Primarily 30seconds to 10minutes. 30, 60, 240 work fine too, and range, vol set for intraday bar proportions.
Is this toolbox of setups not sauce for the gander? e.g. Grampa's Daily, Weekly and Monthly charts? Snoozola baby. If a setuptrigger evolves on a W or D, downshift that puppy to a 10minute and get a better resolution entry. Wanna enter with that Daily chart, no problemo be patient and wait for a setuptrigger with a reasonable stop spread and be ready to rock.
