Your favorite setups and signals

@Sekiyo
Sounds good. I have to try sometimes. Can you give me some examples or previous trades?

@tradersmantra
I love price action. But you combine it with RSI and Volume. What are your criteria?

That’s my last good winners on the 5min
Bought the breakout on the 5min,
The pullback on the 65min.

That’s what a HTF looks on the weekly

That’s a decent winner I also took on the 65min

You should try hunting, it is very challenging, but most important teaches integrity and being ethical to the life of animal.
Up here in the frozen north we take the most technically advanced animal (Man) arm him to the teeth with the most advance weaponry and pit him against the dumbest animal we can find. (Moose)
And here is where integrity and being ethical comes in.
To make it a fair fight we add alcohol. :)

That's a good trade. What is your screening process? Did you use some software or do you have a watchlist with 100 symbols and monitoring only this watchlist?

Will follow you on Twitter. Thanks for the explanation.

RSI is a momentum indicator which others use for oversold and overbought, but I watch RSI for divergences which increases the probability of confirmation of trend reversal or a corrective move . And volume is something like which again confirms that the price is moving with strength or just with dry money. These simple tools are enough for me. This combination increases the probabilities. You know well, trading is a game of probability not certainty.

I am screening for momentum,
Basically I watch for the top tickers on each performance window.
1 Week top performers are great for 65min high tight flags.
Then I look at the monthly, 3 months and 6 months.

I look @ the top 100 trading above 10 millions dollars in general.
Used to order and count by industry but I don't do it anymore.

Downloading data from tradingview into excel.

I check for a consolidation then I set an alert on it.
Usually I want to see a double top and higher lows.

Trying out another screener RN

On the left it's the highest minimum relative strength
On the right it's the lowest maximum relative strength

The relative strength being the rank among stocks for one performance window.
Here I am using the 1 month, 3 months, 6 months ...

Anyway ...

Thanks for the follow !

Breakout trading needs a good environment,
Something we don't have right now ...

You admitted to yourself you're essentially a failed trader after decades of doing this.
What kind of secret Holy Grail trading knowledge are you keeping locked inside of your mind and not wanting to share openly,

SimpleMeLike, Hunt an Elephant or Rhino...go big game hunting in the market, leave the squirrels and rodents to the amateurs and scalpers, stop trying to win top prize in skee-ball. Play in a different league.

Thank you MBPH. I have read through your old posts. Now I, too, can see the future! How clever of you! I will not give it away, either.

Hello, New Person, uscsun,
If you want to make a million in the market....in a year....there's only one, ideal, way to do it: day trade the S&P using options. Don't scalp it, just aim to understand and capture and ride the major trend movement of the day. Do that, grow and compound...and you'll make a million in the market, in a year.
Of course, though, however, the hard part is understanding the trade process with a reasonable high degree of accuracy. Knowing the future, reasonably, is the Holy Grail. If you know the future, consistently, you can make a nuclear bomb of plutonium in the market.

MBPH, I may only have 1 post, but I am far from new at this game. A million or more is not my goal. I am humble and will modestly milk the markets. I am retired with a pension and SS, so this is a side gig for me. I am fortunate and blessed.
