Your Fav Led Zep song

Ladies and gentlemen---Please rise for the national anthem:

De de du de de du de de du de de du.....

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face.....
Stars to fill my dreams.....
I am a traveler of both time and space.....
To be where I have been.....

Oh oh oh oh.....

Kashmir

Thank you. You may now be seated.

Sorry, but Thank You is the clear winner.

"When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me. Kind woman, I give you my heart, Kind woman, nothing more."

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

I'd list it high but as a Chicagoan it's gotta be When The Levee Breaks.

On second thought I wish a few thousand of those Mississippi crows had drowned down South rather than moving to Chi-town. :)

"crying won't help U, prayin won't do no good":D

There is a song on the album 'Presence' called 'Nobody's fault but mine' which I really appreciate.

Jimmy Page plays his beloved Les Paul Gibson with violin bow. It produces a really interesting effect throughout the song.

As a hobby of mine is playing guitar, I really enjoy listening to the great guitarists like Page.

Most of their songs are outstanding, it's really difficult to pick just one though.

agreed... a lesson for all the kids out there ... they should stop showing the idiot Gore's movie in public schools, and rock out some Zepplin...

"Ten Years Gone" from Graffiti. It has that classic layered guitar sound that became the Page's signature, commonly referred to as a Guitar Army.

How many pretenders have tried to mimic this revered, albeit a little sloppy, master.

BTW, did you guys see all the Rock n Roll royalty go to that Dec show to see them? Waters, Jagger, McCartney among many other.

Keepeing with the free concert series:

A band this great deserves a list, not just one song. In no particular order:

The Rover
Over the Hills and Far Away
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
That's The Way
Ten Years Gone
Kashmir
Down By The Seaside
D'yer Mak'er
All My Love

However, their best song in my humble opinion is.....

Fool in the Rain

If you can't appreciate the time changes, the mixture of rock and reggae, in addition to the sheer brilliance in Page's solo there is no hope for you.
